The condensor is in one of the end caps of the armature and is not very serviceable to the average Joe. If you're thinking of buying a generic automotive condensor at Auto Zone, don't. I saw this product while digging around on the interwebs, and had a crap mag with the above symptoms, and thought 'What the heck, It's only $23, I'll try that'.
